| LED-ZEPPELIN is Jimmy Page (guitar), John Paul Jones(Bass), John Bonham(Drums), and Robert Plant(vocals). Led-Zeppelin's era of music was the late 60s and 70s, the best era of all time in music. Led-Zeppelin got started with a band called "THE YARDBIRDS", in which Jimmy Page was the guitar player. The Yardbirds had been touring around Europe when the rest of the band abandoned Jimmy Page and left him with all these tour dates all by himself. So, Jimmy got together musicians who are the other members of Led-Zeppelin. And thus LED-ZEPPELIN was created. Led-Zeppelin got their name from a joke by KEITH MOON (the WHO): "They will fall like a balloon of lead." |
